Hello there, I am TW here in Canada and intend to apply for CEC this year. I got married in the meantime and want to change my last name. I was wondering if someone can advise when is the best time to do that? All my current documents and visas are with my maiden name. Should I do it before applying for CEC or apply for CEC and then change everything.
Thank you!

hi, i was singe when i entered canada and git married before i applied for pr. personally, i preferred changing my last name to my married name(passport, driver's license, health card, bank cards, etc) so that later on, once my pr is approved, idon't have to ammend my last name. so for me, it all depends in what you really want. but to save time, i would suggest youdo it before submitting your application so as to avoid confusion and delay in your application. c",)
