TVR for spouse

Hi guys,

I am not understanding the TVR right now, I do have couple of questions regarding this process.

1. would I be able to submit an application online on behalf of my wife ?

2. if I already have a Sponsorship application in process would TVR effect it in any way ?

3. since I submitted all documents for the sponsorship application, would I be required to re submit all documents for TVR as well
i.e Pictures, Police report, Medical Exam

1. Yes - you can submit the online application.
2. Yes - this will likely impact the TRV. To be approved for a TRV you must prove that you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans to remain in Canada long term. If you have sponsored your wife, then she clearly has plans to remain in Canada long term. Unfortunately there is a good chance her TRV will be refused.
3. You must provide all of the document requested for the TRV application again - even if you provided them in the sponsorship application. They are two completely separate application processes.
