I am in Canada now and I got a visitor visa in 2015 for 5 years according to my passport expiry date which is 2019.
I continued my education with a study permit for 2 years and I got PGWP after that.
I renew my passport this month, so according to the expiry date in the passport, my work permit will expire on December 2019. I applied last week to extend my PGWP.
Now I want to travel and come back to Canada, while I do not have a visitor visa any more in my new passport. Also, my PGWP will expire after 2 months, and a new one is under process.
Please help me to find out how to get a visa to go home and come back to Canada in December?

If the TRV is still valid in the old passport it can still be used, you just travel with both passports.

Oh, Thank you so much. I have a visitor visa in my old passport till December 30, 2019. Can I travel and come back before that date?
