Greetings everybody,

I am trying to prepare for TRV for my parents ,my relative whom I was expecting to send us the letter of invitation went on a trip for 3 weeks to another country,I have PR but I didn't work for the last 2 years and don't have a home in my name(share with bachelors),so I think I can't qualify for inviting my parents.

I would like to know ,if an applicant don't have the invitation letter, what would be a better option for applying TRV,

how about Hotel reservation and itinerary for some site visits inside the city, will it suffice.

You only need to live in Canada to be able to invite someone.

Maybe you are confused on "invite" and "sponsor". You can't sponsor someone, but you can certainly invite them.

An invitation letter is always something good to have.

This is better than an invitation letter.

Thx jalex,

you said hotel booking is even better than letter of invitation , how so?!.

Another question plz,

I am afraid if I pay full amount of hotel booking+ air tickets then TRV is rejected to lose the money, so what to do?

alot of travel agencies advise to make reservation only and if visa is approved then pay the full amount.

but i am afraid that the visa officer might not take the reservations so seriously and reject the visa....what u think?

A booking is an actual plan. A letter of invitation are just good intentions.

Look for agencies that will book with refundable amounts.

(Now you understand why a booking can be taken more seriously than a simple invitation).
