TRV within Canada for Parents

Hi,

My Parents are here on visitor visa, they came in 2023 and on our request (we have medical documents) IRCC extend their visitor record until 2027 (Passport Expiry) but their visitor visa (TRV sticker) is expiring next month. I am wondering If I can apply for that sticker based on visitor record from within Canada?

No. When they leave, they reapply for new TRV.

They would also be expected to return home for a decent amount of time to reestablish their lives in their home country given their extremely long visit. It is actually quite crazy/generous that they were even given an extension until 2027 especially if not on a supervisa. These types of extensions are pretty rare these days because many parents have confused visits as permanents moves to Canada. Parents visiting are expected to return home and after a long visit need to be prepared to reestablish their ties to their home country before visiting Canada again. What do you mean by medical documents?
