TRV visitors visa

Hello,

I applied for a TRV visitors visa on the 7th of July 2017 to my local VAC and my files were submitted to the Canadian High Commission on the 10th of July 2017. I received 2 application receipts from CIC on the 8th of August 2017 and the other one on the 15th of August 2017. Does this means that something went wrong or were they to say that my documents are okay? Please, any information about this would be highly appreciated. I haven't heard anything about my application since.
