TRV visitor for wife pending, submit OWP application ?

Hello guys,

I have a predictament.. I have submitted a TRV visitor application for my spouse who is overseas. I am approaching close to 6 months left on my WP in a few days and do not feel the TRV decision will come through. Can i submit the OWP application for my wife while the TRV is pending? since the OWP has to be done before less than 6 months remain on WP. I am a NOC O class employee. Will this OWP filed online immediately cancel the TRV application or will that be handled on its own merit ?

No, as you have less than 6 months remaining on your work permit when the OWP is processed.

I dont think it 6 months count from when its processed.. as far as I know you should have minimum 6 months remaining when you "File"
