Hi All, as per yesterday's media release from sean. Is the TRV update only about 30 days processing or will they have some leniency in terms of eligibility as well? My spouse had her visa rejected twice because of strong family ties. Please pour us your suggestion

Who's sean?
 
Probably not great to refer to a government minister like a friend but like any government announcement what actually happens will be the true test. Announcement and reality are often different. There still needs to be safeguards against immigration fraud so if a couple has minimal time together in person then they may not get a TRV. There also is a big issue that most will not qualify for things like healthcare in Canada as visitors.
