Can anyone share their experiences or timeline of getting Visitor visa with medical request? I've read on the site that medical exam is not usually requested for visitors intending to stay less than 6 months. My mom applied for a visitor visa (online) from the Philippines. She has been to Canada from September 2017-March 2019. She applied for a visitor visa again to bring/accompany my son (Canadian citizen) back to Canada as we're not able to return to the Philippines due to work. She intends to stay for only 3 months. She submitted the online application on May 24, 2019, did biometrics on May 30, 2019, and was requested to do the medicals. She did the medical exam on June 04. Anybody here knows how long would it take SLEC to submit results? I've read some experiences here that they were approved of visa in a matter of 1 or 2 weeks. Any similar cases? Please reply.
