TRV refusal ... international student in the US ASAP

Hello everyone,

I am an international student in the US. I was planning to visit my friends over this spring break but unfortunately my visa got refused because of the following reasons:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I enclosed to my application a letter of online employment, a contract of a second job that I got on campus for the second semester, and my scholarship letter. I was wondering if the refusal was based on the fact that I didn't submit a proof of registration for the spring term.

For the second reason of refusal, I attached an invitation letter from my friend in Canada and a proof of his work permit.

It would be very helpful to get some leads as I am planning to reapply ASAP and hopefully make it to Montreal during this break.

The purpose of visit refusal reason typically means you haven't demonstrated strong enough evidence that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit. In addition to demonstrating that you are registered for the spring term, you should also provide evidence that you have paid your tuition in advance for this term. Where are you living? Can you show a rental agreement for your accommodations in the US? Did you provide a bank balance to show your funds available to pay for your trip to Canada?

1. I can't show a rental agreement as I am not a cosigner on the lease. I live with two other friends in Manhattan NYC.
2.I did provide my bank statements, It's true that I don't have an excessive amount on my account as of today. But I believe they would state it as a reason of refusal if my financial situation was an issue.

I am actually conducting a research with a professor at my college and I was wondering If I should ask her for a letter stating that the research is also gonna take place on the next term. Also, I got a second job on campus with a fixed income amount of 2500 USD. I submitted the online contract but I guess that was not tremendously convincing, should I ask for a letter from my employer?
