Hi, I want to apply for TRV within canada and I am on work permit. But I am not sure about which form to fill and what to fill in the employment as well as funds section. If anyone can help me that will be great. Thank you in advance.

Hi, yes. You have to just apply for Temporary Resident Visa from inside Canada. It costs $100. You will need the scan of your Work Permit, Passport, Digital photo as well as fill the form related to it. Its quite easy and you get passport request within week

Hey, yes I got passport request in 4 days.. then within 2 weeks my passport was sent to me with the counter foil stamp.

I have similar situation and one confusion about renewing TRV. I am in Canada with Approved Work Permit Extension. and now trying to get TRV renewed.

When I go to CIC website, it see only three choices, Apply to come to Canada, Refugee... , Student …. …

How do I get to the section where I can apply for TRV from within Canada. When I chose "Apply to come to Canada", and answer the questions including I am in Canada and have worker status, the system asks me to complete form for those applying for TRV from outside Canada. However, I am in Canada and want to get to the form that is for applying for TRV from within Canada. How do I get to this selection on CIC website?

Also is the renewed TRV automatically multi entry or I have to do something to request that TRV renewal be made multi entry visa?

Please help.
