TRV from outside canada - processing time

I looked recently for TRV from outside canada - processing time for Colombia and the process was about 3 months. More recently it indicated 5 months. And right now, when I look on the website, it's written 414 days. It doesen't look like a normal time frame. What's going on? Is it wrong?

Backlogs/many people applying for permits so times change every week.

Backlogs/many people applying for permits so times change every week.

I get it, but it changed drastically to around 90 days to 414 days. I don't think it's very accurate. What do you think about it? (It's similar for a lot of countries as I can see)

They are always just estimates. Would apply at least 6 months in advance and don’t buy any tickets.

Covid, Afghanistan and Ukraine make the whole processing time thing worthless. As @canuck78 said, if you can't wait for at least 6 months to get a decision, just don't apply at all. Processing time will disappoint you.
