I'm very new to this. My boyfriend and I started communicating in 2009 through friends. Lost contact...finally met in April 2014 at a wedding. I totally was not thinking about meeting him when I went.
Anyways, we applied for a TRV in March 2015 so he could come visit. I had been to Jamaica 5 times between April 2014 and last trip lasted until Jan 5,2015. We got denied in April 2015. I am currently 7months pregnant and I mentioned this to the VISA office as it is a high risk pregnancy and I am on sick leave now because I was told I can deliver at any time. Our reasons for being denied were that he did not have enough ties to Jamaica. He has a job....albeit not the greatest. We had sent a letter from employed, medical insurance, letter of invitation......
I want to reapply, as it would be nice for him to come to my baby shower in August (yes, I am having it after the baby is born) and meet some friends and family and his boy! He will return! I'd like to spend time in Jamaica this winter with our baby away from Canadian cold. He also recently paid for a part time business course that starts in Sept 2015 and ends june 2016 to prove he will go back. He also opened a Jamacian bank account in JA funds.
What else should we do? Please give advice!
