TRV for WIFE, I am on Open work permit.

Hi

I am looking for some information regarding my spouse visa.

I am in Canada on Post graduate open work permit till Nov. 2014 and working with Bell. I've applied for provincial nominee program and waiting for result. I am recently got married and trying to invite my wife on TRV but some of my friends told me is it not allowed to apply for TRV if you've applied for the immigration (Either with province or CIC).

I don't see any such clause on any of website.

I just want to get your words, can i apply for TRV for my wife in parallel with immigration or not.

your friends are probably wrong. you can apply for TRV or OWP for your wife. any way i have almost similar case as you but i havnt applied for my wife yet.. what about you ? did you applied or have any new information ?
