TRV for Infant born in India to PR Parents living in India

Hi All,

Situation: I and my wife are PR (soft landing done). Back in India to have a baby and complete service notice for jobs. New born doesn't have any status in Canada. Applied for TRV for him with all documents. Intend to travel together and apply for sponsorship after landing. Job in Canada is also planned.

Has anyone else faced this or similar experience in COVID times.
1. Would be great to know how and what to do?
2. How did it feature out for you?
3. Timelines?

2. How much time it took for the VV / TRV to come?
3. I am guessing your plan is to also do hard landing and then Sponsor your child for PR?

2. How much time it took for the VV / TRV to come? 2.5 months
3. I am guessing your plan is to also do hard landing and then Sponsor your child for PR? Yes

Hello All,
I applied for TRV for my child.. my husband and myself are PR.. currently he is in Canada and I am in India.
TRV got refused and the reason was mentioned that family ties in Canada and no reason to travel back.

We mentioned in the application that we would initiate the PR process once we reach Canada.

Any help? What should be done next?
