Hi! I came to Canada and decided to get married with my fiance', my TRV expired week (MArch 2018), I have submitted my application under spousal sponsorship and OWP.

I read that I need to have a legal status in Canada.

Before submission of my PR application last Feb 2018, I called and inquired with IRCC what I need to do but it just advised me I dont need to extend my TRV. I also read from cic.ca site that im on IMPLIED STATUS until a decision has been made regarding my application.

What happens as soon as i received my OWP, should i still apply for TRV?

All a TRV does is get you on an airplane to Canada. It has nothing to do with your status in Canada.

When did you actually enter Canada? Did you get a stamp on your passport? Or a visitor record? Or just waved in?

Typically your status is good for 6 months after entering if CBSA didn't tell you otherwise.

I did not receive any stamp, i entered Canada twice last July and Sept (from the US). Counting from Sept 2017, I am allowed to stay until 2018 March

You still haven't given actual dates. When does your visitor status expire and when did you submit your inland app with the OWP?

When you last entered in Sept 2017 that should have given you 6 months status from that date. ANd since you applied for inland PR + OWP within that 6 months, you should now be on implied status.

march 9, 2018 expired trv, inland application submitted feb 2018.

It was your visitor status that expired, not your TRV. As Rob said, you currently have Implied Status. Note that if your OWP app is returned for any reason, you will be out of status.
