TRV exceed processing time - Please help & share your opinion about CSE

Hi Folks,

I've submitted paper application via Canada Visa Application Centre Dusseldorf - Germany on July 20, according to the CIC the processing time is 9 day, according to the visa office it's between 2-4 weeks which is also passed, I send the visa office an email and they told me today

"

according to our system, please be advised that your application is still in process with the embassy.
Please be patient until embassy makes a decision on your application.

"
without giving any reason or proposing specific waiting time, can I send directly CSE as I applied via the visa office or the should do that? any suggestions or such experience?

The posted processing times are only estimates. There's nothing you can do but wait. It's quite possible for processing to take several months.

Hi,

We applied through London VO and also their processing time was 9 days.. but it took us almost 2 months to get the visa... So I guess you'll have to wait. Or else you can send a direct email to the Dusseldorf VO iso to the VAC. But I'm quite sure you will receive a very generic response from them too.

Hi all,

Most of us applicants from the Middle East (at least those whose applications are being processed by the Abu Dhabi Visa office) are in the same boat.
We've triedd to contact the embassy/ sent case specific inquiries but it's quite clear that we just need to wait for the e-mail

I applied via VAC in Port of Spain , Trinidad.
Aug 4 the High Commission received package as i could have link to my CIC account. Processing days is 10 days this now 14 days and no change on my account.

Sent and email as well no response. MAYBE there is system issue which is causing a backlog or staff taking holidays.
