TRV Confusion

Hi guys.

I applied to extend my visa from within Canada. I am currently working but I need to extend the visa. I did already try once and my application was rejected because I submitted form, IMM5708. I called immigration to ask and they told me that I had applied with the wrong form. They emailed me a link to apply for the TRV. I did follow up the instructions and got all my paperwork ready. When I went on line to my account to upload the paperwork, It asks me to upload again IMM5708. I am very confused. Anyone knows which form should I submit?

I think it should be the form: Application for Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa) Made Outside of Canada (IMM5257)
Have you already applied TRV?

Are you trying to extend a work permit? If so, you can't do that with the visitor form (that one will allow you to remain in Canada, but won't allow you to work). Are you definitely eligible to extend your work permit?
