TRV CAN Plus Visa from India

Hello

Has anyone applied a CAN Plus visa recently for their parents in India. Currently the processing time for TRV is exceeding several months so I was wondering if CAN+ might be a better option. Can someone who has recently applied please shed some light.

You apply for a visitor visa. VO will decide if processed through CAN+.

I applied for Parents on April 13, Bio April 17, Review started April21. and nothing after that.
Our application qualifies for CAN + . Previously they had a 10 year Visa, visited Thrice.
Hopefully get an update soon. Good Luck All.

That means its already over 2 months, considering CAN plus takes like a week, did u double check with VFS if your application was actually considered under CAN+ ?

We cant check unfortunately. We have to wait till IRCC sends a message to your portal account.

Did u get any updates yet , somebody got it in a month under CAN+ so maybe this is random and depends on case per case basis.

As someone said, you can’t apply for CAN+. Eligibility is decided by IRCC when a visa application is submitted, and you won't be told.
Even it eligible, the assumed faster processing can be delayed, or end up as a refusal, if the applicant’s background (financial, character, homeland ties etc) has changed since the last application.
So, don't count on CAN+ for a fast visa.

Yes, i agree. It didnt ask any support documents for my parents applications as they qualify as CAN+
