Hello everyone!
I live in Canada and I am a Canadian citizen. I have a girlfriend who lives in Belarus. We know each other since 2014 and I go see her every 3-4 months. In 2015 she applied for TRV and was refused. On the application she didn't mention she was going to see me. She thought this would increase her chances of getting a visa. Now we are going to get married and I want to sponsor her. Not sure what to do now as it is obvious (with all these passport stamps) we knew each other way before she applied for that trv. Any advice would be appreciated.

Her chances of getting a TRV will be very low, especially after that refusal and they probably suspect she has a bf there. Best to just forget about trying for the trv as multiple refusals can impact ur application

I am worried they are going to pull up that trv application from 2015 and start questioning how she was planning her trip to Canada without visiting me?

They most likely will not. They will know she wanted to come see you. In the application she will have to say that she applied for a TRV and that it was refused. One refusal is generally OK. If they ask about it at the interview, she should just say she wanted to come see you. The visa officer will probably not press her about why she did not say that on the TRV application.
