TRV applied within Canada - No Update

Hi Everyone,
I recently applied (Apr 6, 2021) for TRV within canada and haven't received any update till now. Some of my colleagues who have applied on same time period have received an update to submit the passport. To give more details, I came to canada in 2019 and recently got my Work permit extension approved. I haven't travelled outside canada in past two years. Can someone let me know what is the time period for processing ? Also, does the processing varies case by case?

That's weird , processing time is 76 days!
Check your online application, I guess it depends on the requirements: Background check required or not is one possible reason for longer processing.
All you can do is wait and hopefully you will get it soon since you have WP approved recently.
Why you did not apply for TRV and work permit extension in the same application?
