Go to CIC webisite click on visitor on left side u will have instructions on hw to apply for re-entry visa or TRV within Canada

My TRV application delivered on July 19th and now waiting for it.
I think it takes one month to process.

My application was received by CPP-Ottawa on 9th July. Now I am waiting. Saw in this forum that its taking 28 days +postal

I do have one query and need some advice guys: I want to apply for US visa (after I get Canada TRV) but I found that my Original Post Grad Work Permit is missing, I have looked for it everywhere but don't find it.
Please tell me what can I do now since I need to show my legal status (original: Work permit) for US visa interview? Is there any solution?

PS: I have applied for replacement but it is going to take 4 months (as mentioned in CIC website)

Any suggestions???

Dear PMPM,

if u r missing pgwp , call CIC at Toll Free number and give them ur Client ID - pay 30$ for re-issue of pgwp they should send it to u in 30 days.

also another friendly advise - if u r applying for usa visa, dont show any relations in usa even if u have them and other one - make sure u still have 1 semester left - 99% they refuse if u apply without proper ties. however this is canada visa forum so lets limit this discussion, just an advise.

Hi Im so worried on whats going on with my TRV application which I sent to Ottawa on July 7, 2012...they received it on the 10th.
I send all the necessary forms and documents needed, except my plain ticket as my friends told me to enclose but the document checklist doesnt say so. Is a plain ticket really needed for TRV?
