Hey gang, I'm applying through the VAC and both the TRV and the Study Permit have their own checklists. My question is do I double up on the documents that are listed on both? For example, both state proof of financial support. Do I print two sets of documents? Or is one set of documents alright?

hello cordang. just download the application kit for a study permit application kit and fill out the applicable forms. the embassy will issue both the TRV and letter of introduction once your application for a study permit is approved. the study permit will be issued upon entry to canada by presenting the letter of introduction to the immigration official at the port of entry. therefore don't download both application kits. you can get the forms here if you haven't already done so http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/student.asp.
