So you are saying I should notify them now? How? Sending them a letter with explanation? Calling? Can I send documents to the VO even if my case is still in Mississauga and I still don't have access to my Ecas?

How much time do I have before it become misrepresentation?

Or wait until it ends and then notify them?
See these question normally no one can answer them, but I would have gone submission of the documentary + explanation letter immediately to Mississauga giving case's information , that way I would avoid the "misrepresentation" part, If I believe that case has no prove and I definitely gona win the case, otherwise I would go for withdraw.

how long will the trial take? if you think it may end soon, then wait for it to be over and see if your husband is freed of all charges. in which case, you don't need to send CIC anything at this point. he will still have to say 'yes' to the question if he was ever convicted and show CIC that a court document saying he is not guilty. you can email a copy of that document earlier as well.

if he is actually charged, then it's a different issue.

But as she said, it was a deliberate case, and in this situation I believe the guy who is behind this case is not gona give up, and I believe this case will take some time to settle, I strongly believe in that court period the CIC would be contacting the concerned department(Police) that's the whole issue. Normally for Latin American CIC takes less processing time than the rest of the world, and the Court time normally takes 6 months onward, but if the guy who is behind this case would try to take the case long.

Well we talked with a lawyer and he said it's suposed to be over within 3-4 months max because it's "sumario"....

Ponga is right - I would suggest doing this as well. Your situation is unique and there aren't going to be many people who have had to deal with this and have experience in what actually happens. So we're all just speculating at this point on what the best course of action would be in your case.
