Treated neurosyphilis and study permit

I am a 20 year old boy..who was recently diagnosed with neurosyphilis (although had no specific symptoms)..doctor treated me with 14 days of penicillin.. injections..and then concluded I was healthy and perfectly fine to lead a normal life..now my question is can I apply for canada student visa..will I get medically refused? Please guide me anyone..

Are u sure about that?..I have heard people say that with advanced stage syphilis (even with sufficient treatment and good health) can be rejected ?
