Travelling to US with PR and TRV visa, but landing using TRV

hi Guys,
I need some opinion on this..
Recently, I have got my PR visa and COPR document but haven't done my landing yet.
I live in Toronto and planning to travel to USA for a holiday bus trip on 10th Aug and return back on 12th Aug.
Me and my family hold a valid work permit and a temp resident visa, is it possible to enter back to Canada with TRV and do the PR landing later? Question is, will my TRV be valid after receiving PR visa?
As I will be returning back in a tourist bus, I will not have time to land when I return on 12th Aug, so thought will do the PR landing formalities a week later by 20th Aug..

I had asked this question at the border. What happens to my currently valid work permit and trv?

As soon as the immigrant visa was stamped, all other visas become invalid or cancelled. This happens even if they are not physically cancelled. So, no you can't reenter using your work trv. Only people from Visa exempt countries can enter without landing.

thanks guys for the response.. So I think its better to do the landing when I am back from the trip and make some arrangement to return back to Toronto. .
