Travelling to India from Canada via USA as a Canadian PR

Hello,

I am planning on visiting India later this year and tickets are cheaper from US to India than Canada to India. So I was thinking of booking return flight tickets like CANADA -> USA -> INDIA. My question is, Is this allowed? Will it create any issues? Another thing to note, I do have B1/B2 US Visa and I am not planning on staying in the US, just for the time I have to catch the flight to India which will be around 6-7 hrs. Also, I have Canadian PR. Any help/comment/input is appreciated. Thanks

Your actual question is can you fly with a stop in US if you have a B1/B2 US Visa.

Your status as Canadian PR or not doesn't affect this part of your flight (entering and exiting US).

The relevant part for PR:
As long as you have a valid PR card, you can fly back to Canada. (regardless if you fly direct from India or from USA)
