Generally Qatar does not accept entry with RTD. Inorder to enter Qatar with RTD, you need special permission from the ministry of interior. Very long process to get the special permission, but i only know of someone who was granted special permission to enter Qatar with RTD.
I transited in Qatar last year for a few hours with my RTD and had no issues. I didn't attempt visiting the country though.

Transiting through doha is a good option to reduce Air fare towards india. Its a about a couple of hours.
My question does boarding stuff permit you as well as qatar official at Doha airport?
It was around May 2022. They just took my travel document for a few minutes of extra screening and everything was good.
I didn't get your last point- i was issued my boarding pass for my connecting flight here in Canada and the airport officials in Doha checked it. I didn't have to go through Qatar's border control or anything- just the transit area.

I think yes as when you can visit Turkey with RTD so there shouldn't be any transit issue.
Has anyone recently had a transit ( layover) in Doha with just the RTD? How was it? Does Qatar Airways allow you to board with the RTD??
There is an option to visit Qatar on Haya portal holding Travel Document, I applied and stated no nationality (my mistake) and my application got stuck for the past few months. They are not accepting or rejecting the application. Can not make another application unless gets the primary application decision.
One`s should try to add nationality Canada and i hope they will issue they visa on Travel document.
No I don’t want to visit, I just have a layover for a few hours without leaving the airport and I wanted to make sure that I could travel and transit there with a refugee travel document
