Travelling overseas after Citizen application

If we travel overseas after applying for Citizenship will it cause the application any delays ?

Only if they try to contact you and you are not there or if they call you for the exam and you miss your date. Make sure somebody is checking your mail for you while you are away.

Leon.. my wife was in Pakistan and missed her citizenship test last year in July 2011.. Now she is in Canada and wants to travel back to Pakistan after her citizenship test and oath.. but her app status on CIC website is "in process" for many months.. can you please guide when we can expect the test call?

Did she notify them with a good reason why she missed the test? If yes, then they will re-schedule but nobody can tell you when. She can go visit the local CIC office in your town to ask if they know anything.
