Travelling outside country while waiting for PR with visitor status.

Hello,
I'll be sponsoring my wife for permanent residency and her visitor status expires in about a month. For few reasons we couldnt file PR application yet, but will do very soon.
We may have to travel outside country while waiting for PR, but her status will be done by then. (we'll also file for OWP but not sure if that would be out in time..) Will she be considered under implied status and have no trouble coming back to Canada? Or is it best stay in Canada and avoid any potential troubles..

Once she leaves Canada, she is no longer under implied status. If you are applying inland, your spouse needs to remain in Canada or risk being refused entry. If refused entry, the application will be rejected or refused.
