Travelling out of Canada while spousal sponsorship application is in progress

Hi Guys,
I hope I'm posting this in the right forum. Please help!!
I applied for spousal sponsorship for my wife and kids in Aug end 2018. Sponsorship and PR application has been approved and we are waiting for the background check completion and PPR.
I wish to visit my family and stay with them for about a month and a half as I'll be in between jobs. Will this affect my application in any way? Is there any specific rule that applied for the amount of time a sponsor can be out of the country?

Yes this could lead to your sponsorship app being refused. Short visits out of Canada seem to be tolerated. You are really supposed to remain in Canada during the duration of the application. 2-3 weeks max is what seems to be tolerated. You have already gotten lucky and had a quick sponsorship process. Up to you whether you want to risk starting over again. People do get refused for being out of Canada too long.
