My wife holds a valid TRV issued before marriage (hasn't travelled on it). I am in Canada now on Open-Work-Permit. She wants to visit me for 3 weeks.

Also,
- She has informed CIC about change in marital status and her PR application is under process.
- She is currently not employed (quit a months ago).
- She has a travel history of visiting other countries.

I have following questions:
1. Can she now travel on it the TRV which issued before marriage?
2. What documents should she must carry to show to CBSA at the port-of-entry?
3. What questions can she expect at the POE ?

TIA

If the TRV is valid, then yes, she can travel on it.

She doesn't need any particular documents at the port of entry. She should carry along a marriage certificate and a copy of your AoR just in case CBSA wants to know if she's already been sponsored.

She's unlikely to be asked too many questions at the PoE. They'll ask her why she's coming, she can simply say that she's coming to visit you. They may ask whether she's being sponsored, and she should say yes and show a copy of the AoR if asked.

Just be careful not to give the impression that she is moving for good. So don't arrive with six huge suitcases. The CBSA officer is not supposed to let a visitor move to Canada permanently.
