Travelling on PR card expiry date

My PR card expiry date is May 26. Can I board a flight on exact expiry date in Delhi? And the flight will land on same expiry date in Toronto. Or should I only land before 26?

You can travel the day your PR card is set to expire. Of course this assumes the travel ban has been lifted by then and not extended.

is it better to apply for PRTD? So that I can use the PRTD if the travel ban extends further?

It's hard to answer that question since we don't know if the ban will be extended.

I guess you can plan to travel on or before your PR card expires if the travel ban ends then. Otherwise you'll need a PRTD.
