Travelling on old passport

I just renewed my passport for adding spouse name.
Now I need to travel back to my home country urgently.
My canadian visa is on my old passport.
Is it possible to travel? Or I must have the visa on my new passport?

Keep both passports with you and you will be fine.

The visa is VALID until the expiry date. Visa is a standalone document. However it must be paired with an active passport. So you are good!
