Ask your airline. For the most part, foreign citizens transiting through CdG to third countries* with connecting flights can remain in the international zone (i.e. do not pass through French passport control) and don't need visas. But you should check with the airline on both this and any covid-related requirements.
*Caveat here that 'third countries' really means countries not in Schengen zone. Not at all applicable to case of onward travel to Canada from Mauritius, and good thing, because then it gets a lot harder to explain.
