I am travelling from Canada to India after completion of my first program and will be returning in the third week of my second program. I'll be missing few classes initially. Do I need any additional document to show on airport for this?

Do you have a valid study permit and TRV? Have you updated your IRCC files and have new LOA with funds to support studies.

Yes, I have a valid study permit and TRV. And I have already paid for one semester of 2nd program, the 2nd semester fee is due in November. FYI this is 2 semester program that starts on 3rd Sept and I'll be returning on 14th Sept. Not updated my IRCC files. Study permit is until next year September.

CBSA may ask for proof of funds. Study permit expires 90 days after program closing completion of first program as stated on your permit. So when did you complete first program since you didn’t inform IRCC? Are you changing schools?

I am still into my first program. Both programs are in the same college and my first program will get done by 23rd August and I am travelling from 25th Aug - 14th Sept. It's a dual program, I took both the courses together from India. My 2nd program is from 3rd Sept - April 2025. And my study permit shows expiry date of 30/09/2025.

So have new LOA & show funds. Update file with IRCC because permit expires 90 days after completion of first program.

Thank you for the information. Just one last thing, my study permit shows expiry date of 30/09/2025. I am not sure that it's getting expired after my first program. And my previous LOA shows acceptance of both the first and second program.
