My spouse is scheduled to Land next week. Can she travel to US for Christmas and New Year after landing? She has an unexpired US Visa on her passport.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Your spouse can still enter US with a current valid US visa. However it is best to have a PR card when flying back into Canada. Some airlines will not allow you to board if you are from a non-visa exempted country. Depending on where in US, your spouse is visiting, she can drive across the border and back with just her COPR on hand.

Thanks for your prompt response; we are driving via Peace or Rainbow bridge. I hope we shouldn't have any problem coming back to Canada. I will as them at Canada boarder as I will be driving to US on Business trip this evening.

If you are driving through yourself, then you should have no issues coming back to Canada.

I will be driving to US by myself tonight on a business trip. But in December, My spouse and I will be driving to US for Christmas and New year after she might have landed next week. All I am seeking advice for is that Will there be any problem for her getting back to Canada while her PR card is in process.

Thanks,

You won't have any issues even more so when you are traveling with your wife.
