Traveling to Canada during COVID?

With the new rules of February 2021, there're more questions and anxieties that come up. And the situation keeps changing.

Has anybody traveled back to Canada already under the new rules of February 2021?

I just called the Mariott in Montreal, one of the government-authorized hotels: to follow the mandatory 3 initial nights of the quarantine in a hotel would cost some 1500 CAD.

Does anybody know how to get a more reasonable deal?
