Hi guys.. Need some of your knowledge pls..

I Am Planning to go on my first vacation this mid of April and be back at the mid of May but my PR card is expiring in the next month July.. Must be there to Attend the 4 years I missed in our Family/Relative Get-together/Reunion.. Really miss all of them..

Am I able to go OUT or ENTER the country without problems.?

Should I Renew it first and wait to get the Card it before leaving..? But said to be a 2-3 months wait..

OR Applying for a Travel document be the only for me to be on the safe side..?

I am confused to what I should do.. Pls Advise me Thank You..

You shouldn't have any problems as the PR card is still valid when you return. You can not apply for a travel document just because you want one. You apply for a travel document if you find yourself outside Canada with an expired PR card or having lost your PR card. Getting a travel document can take several weeks, depends on the embassy so it is not really the ideal way to come back if you were just planning a short vacation.

Thanks for the Advise Leon.. Cleared some of my worries..

But will there be any possible problems if I come back few weeks before the card expires..?

Max. as precaution, just carry with you prove of your stay in Canada. Specially if you have your employment record, doctor's visit record (you can have from your family doctor). In case your stay prolonged and over pass the PR expiry date these record will also help you to apply for travel document.
