Dear friends
My friends is refugee claimants and need to travel out of canada to visit her husband but now she can’t and her hearing is next month. Any one know if She gets accepted in her hearing, after how long She will be able to travel out of Canada. I don’t know if after approval she can apply for travel document however her country passport is still valid. If she travel with their passport how she can return to canada.

If she travels with her home country passport she could lose her refugee status because of reavailment. She should never use her home country passport.

She is not going to her country. She is planing to go to another country but PR card will take time to issue. What she can have to return to Canada if she travel.

She can't use her home country passport to travel anywhere or she could lose her protected person status. She needs to use an RTD. Would check to make sure country she wants to travel to accepts the RTD.

Thank you. What is RTD?

Refugee travel document. It can be used instead of a passport. It is not accepted in every country or you may need to apply for a visa with the RTD to enter some countries. You need a positive NOD to apply.
