Hi,

we are from Germany and we want to invest in a seasonal business in Nova Scotia.

Therefore it is seasonal we would have time to travel during the winter ourselfs. But a friend told me it is not possible to leave Canada for more than 6 weeks per year. If we do more than 6 weeks we couldn't get PR.

Is it true?

Is this the case only for our first application or every time?

Thank you!

Kind regards

Tom

Once you are a PR, you must live in Canada for 2 out of every 5 rolling years to keep your PR status. So you can certainly be outside of Canada more than 6 weeks per year.

Thank you!

What happens during our first application for PR? We will immigrate under the NS entrepreneur stream

Hi again?

Is there a difference at which stream I come in? I want to come on a Provincial Nominee Programm

Thanks

Tom
