Hi,

Anyone can share their experience of traveling abroad upon doing the landing process and while waiting for the PR card to arrive? Especially those who need to travel extensively for work outside of Canada.

I know that you can come in via land using COPR. But by air you need to get a temporary PR visa from the country you are visiting. But if you need to travel for work and for short periods of time is there any other way?

Thanks in advance

You can apply for PRTD from the embassy in order to return to Canada before having your PR card. It's like a six-month visa stamp on your passport according to the seniors. Please Google it and find out more.

Thanks. Have heard of it. Seems like the only way. Im just wondering for those who travel extensively. It would be quite a task
