hi guys i was woundering if i can cross the untied states border with
my canadian PR card my husband and i want to go and see a game show
in seattle, or i should have my nigerian passport with me, what do you think guys.

You'll definitely need your passport. Unfortunately you're also going to need a tourist visa because your passport is not from a visa exempt country.

Are you the one from Accra? Even though you have a PR card and it allows you to enter Canada, it will not change the rules for crossing into the US. If you are not from a visa-exempt country, you will need a visa to enter the US. The same would go for any country that requires certain countries to require a visa to enter their country. Just because you are a PR of Canada doesn't mean it exempts you from the requirements of entering other countries based on their rules and the passport you currently hold. Hope this helps. :)

Just because you need a visa doesnt mean it is hopeless... The longer the PR has been in Canada the stronger the visa app becomes... I believe after a year most are approved... If you apply before a year but have the strong ties to Canada that they are looking for (family, job(career), house, car)... All the semblance of a normal life... The chances aren't too bad...

If you apply the day after you land, it probably won't be a positive decision for you!

Good luck
