Travel on BOWP as British citizen?

Wondering if any of you can help me out...

I'm a British Citizen, applying under CEC for PR. Received my AOR and currently waiting for my BOWP. Once I receive my BOWP can I leave Canada to travel to the UK and back, or will I lose my ability to work when I return?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You will be able to work when you return, as long as the BOWP is still valid.

It is only during implied status that you would lose the right to work if you left Canada.

You'll only lose your work permit if you go within 50 miles of Hull...
