Hi There

I recently received my ITA and preparing my documents for submission.
I work on a passenger ship and travelling through different countries. My attorney told me that my travel history is quiet complicated and I need to show all the countries I traveled and address in each country.
Unfortunately, I do not have an address in any of these countries as I stay on board the vessel.

I tried to contact CIC but in vain.

Did anyone face the same issue and if yes kindly advice me how to show my travel history as I am reaching my timeline for submitting my documents.

Thanks

Thanks mate for sharing your experience.. But in my case I always stay on board the ship I work. And it always stays in the water. I tried to make it clear to my lawyer but they replied they never experienced this kind of situation.. Either I need to withdraw my application or need to look for a new lawyer.

Do you have Immigration stamping on your passport for your travels?

Yes.. I do have stampings on my passport.
Can I overcome this issue
In that case, you can mention the port addresses where ever you have got that stamping, and submit an LOE mentioning about this in detail.

Port addresses mean : city of port

Thanks you the advice.. I was also thinking about raising LOE. But my lawyer is not supporting me to do that.. Do you really think an LOE will help me to solve this issue

Yes, it will definitely help. I am a professional consultant and we do this everyday.

Do we have to put address in travel history ?
I thought it only asks City and Country
Correct me if i am wrong ?

For travel history you do not need to show address unless you were based there for long time due to work, in other words your resident country changed.
For all your travels via passenger ship, you must still be maintaing a house and mailing adress of that place and your country of residence remains that for your whole period of travel, is it correct? If yes then you just need to show all travels to each country. In the address history column you only need to show for the country where you maintained house as an address.

In the travel history section where I travelled in the last 10 yrs for work and holidays, I entered only:
-dates(to and from),
-cities and states
-country which I travelled
-purpose of travel

You do not need to mention the hotel, address etc

e.g. I visited US, Atlanta, GA and then did a road trip to Cape Canveral, FL
