Hello everyone

Has anyone filled in their travel history in the ITA?

I included all my domestic/internal flights in a foreign country. For example, I flew from Auckland to Wellington when in New Zealand (foreign country on holiday). I also included all transit flights and divided my flight history from one destination to the next. So, for example, I flew from Auckland to Brisbane and then to Perth in one day and then to my home country.

Is this the correct format? I think these details might be important as I have stamps in my passport.

Thanks.

You don't need to mention domestic flights. You need to mention entries and exits into every country you've traveled to.

I like your signature quote. Poor Abraham was assassinated in last decades of 1800s when internet was not even a dream. However, after reading this quote on INTERNET I believe it is true that I can not depend upon the accuracy of the things posted on internet ! :)

Yes that is correct just entry and exit into countries. If for example you run out of lines (i think there's 35) you can create a word doc and pdf it and include it as additional docs. The more you can provide the easier it is.

I have a similar situation. I entered foreign country as a student and spent couple of years after studies. Do we need to mention each city/region and purpose of visit separately.

I spent those years in multiple cities. How do we account for multiple regions in one entry.

As someone mentioned above you don't have to write travel history of the time spent within the same country !!

As for your question, multiple cities will be accommodated within your Address history ! You will provide them with your address history, and they will figure our that you were in the same Country, multiple cities !

I hope this clarifies and help us close this thread !
Good luck !

Thanks! Also could you please share your thoughts or opinion on the following:
Last Name /First Name - Blank - Even though help says enter last name and leave the first name blank the website doesn't allow this (blank first name)
Employment - I worked for a firm for 3+ years but I had 6+ months break (unpaid vacation) in between. I visited my home country and my visa was on hold for some processing which took more than 6 months. I filled the EE profile with gaps but employer letter has straight 3+ years experience.
My question is when it ask to upload employement reference letter fro the same employer twice. Shall I upload the same reference letter with LOE.
FYI: I have total 8 years exp.

Thank you everyone for your detailed responses. I was grateful for you assistance. It has been so helpful.

I overcomplicated my flight history and so I'm going to remove the non-essential detail and make it simple – just the day I entered and exited each country. This will be easier for the officer to understand and reduce six rows etc. to only one row. I had the same problem as the other person commenting (KMSF) about travelling to multiple cities/regions for tourism/work. But now I understand that they can see from my address history were I was.

I am, however, going to include Australia (which I only visited in transit) because I applied for a transit visa and they stamped my passport.

This forum has some amazing, helpful people. :)

Guys, looking at the posts, am I right to assume that we don't have to enter short travel addresses in address history? That address history should just be residential addresses?

This is what I thought but then it leaves gaps... so I filled in a hotel and a friend's address where I stayed for a few days after the flight.

Your assumption is Incorrect !!

It just says Address History, and does not differentiate between the hotel or residential addresses ! Moreover, no gaps means no Gaps !

Fill all the information to the best of your knowledge and do NOT leave gaps. If someone has mentioned differentiating between Residential addresses, then there is no truth about it !

Good luck!
