Hello seniors,
Can you please help.
In travel history, do we need to mention about the travel made to home country from Canada?
Or just the countries other than home country?

Hi everyone,

I had three questions on travel history for Canada PR.

1) If I live in a smaller city (Eg: Pune) but travel international only from a much bigger city (Eg: Mumbai), do I need to write Mumbai in cities visited section?

2) For any trips to Europe to multiple countries, in the country section do I put in the country where I landed and took off from? And should all cities visited in that trip be included in one entry or separate entries?

3) In case I just transit a particular city in a country but don’t leave the airport terminal, should the city be included in travel history?

TIA for the support

1) no , only mention the trips outside your country of residence and country of citizenship at the time of submission of your eAPR

2) Only mention the country you traveled to, as the Schengen Area is considered one country and your trip to the Port of Entry is what need to be mentioned.

3) no , you effectively are still in an international zone and haven't made a legal entry

@yiso91 thanks for the quick help.

Just adding to that if I land in my home country from a foreign country but my city is different from the one I landed in, do I need to include both cities in cities visited?

for eg: if I land in Mumbai in India but my hometown is Pune and I just left for Pune immediately by road, do I need to add both cities? Or just Mumbai as only Mumbai stamp is there?

IRCC doesn't care about your trip back home, only mention those you traveled outside of India (from any city) , mention the city and country you first entered.

Travelling through Europe is quite easy for IRCC (more specifically CBSA) to verify as they share alot of intelligence information with EU and therefore it won't take much time for them to verify your claims. They do the same with so many other countries like US, Australia, New Zealand to name a few.

Regards

Hello ! If you entered in a country by showing respective visa passing by the immigration only then you need to mention. Else if you had connecting flight from country B , where in you landed from country A , changed aircraft and boarded for the next destination C then you don’t mention B .
