Hi everyone,

I studied abroad for 4 years but there were times I would come back home for a month or two during breaks. Should I put in my 4 years as a block or also put in those breaks as stamped on my passport? I was going to put all the details in but got worried that would complicate things.

Thanks!

I have the same question!

Short gaps for vacation can be safely excluded from the section and you can mention it as one block.

Yes, BUT!!

Provide details of any trips XXXXX has taken outside his/her country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since his/her 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.
You can tell us about each trip by filling in the fields below.
Check the list at the bottom of the form first to see information you have already saved.
• When you click "Save and Add", each trip will be saved to the list.
• The fields will go blank to let you add another trip.
• Use the modify or delete button if you want to change a trip that you have already saved to the list.
Has XXXXX, and if applicable, XXXX's family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.

So the question is; is vacation tourism?

Sounds like a retarded question, but sombody's got to ask it :P

You can be as comprehensive as you want to in this section. No harm in excluding short trips home and back though.

Hi Asivad,
I traveled to Singapore, from India, for approx 6 months for Study purpose, and in between I toured Malaysia for 2 days from Singapore and entered back in Singapore. I was back to India after 6 months of Study in Singapore.

In the Travel History, Do I need to mention Malaysia Tour of 2 days? as my passport shows Malaysia Visa stamp and entry -exit stamps.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not the learned Asivad, but I do believe you have to mention the Malaysia trip.

Yes, because Singapore was your place of residence while you studied there, and you took a trip outside of that country.

I think the passport stamps coincide with the travel history.
