I’m the sponsor in an outland spousal sponsorship application and I’m a Canadian Permanent Resident living in Canada. My file is in the final stages (eligibility passed, medicals and biometrics done, pre-arrival issued, Background in process). I need to travel outside Canada for about a month. Is it safe for the sponsor to travel while the application is still in process? Has anyone done this and still received PPR during travel?
