Travel during break- current students

I have started my online classes in January. I received my passport after stamping in April 2nd week. My courses are until April 23. So can I travel after the course.

I have not issued study permit. They stamped visa valid till 2022.

You can enter if,

To be able to enter Canada as a student, you must

• have a valid study permit or a letter of introduction that shows you were approved for a study permit
• be attending a designated learning institution (DLI) with a COVID-19 readiness plan approved by its province or territory

Book your 3 day mandatory hotel quarantine and have an 11 day home plan.

My university said technically I won't be attending DLI as during the break I'm not registered for classes. So, my travel becomes "non-essential."

So your school will not issue a letter? You can try to enter on just the study permit and TRV but may or may not be denied. Your decision as no one can tell you if you will be allowed entry. You can always come 4-6 weeks before the start of the September.

i knw soemone who travelled on april first week n his classes end soon....he is not registered fr spring/summer....but lyk naturgrl said nobody except border officer can tell if u would b allowed entry...
